To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

1. “To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good…”
a. [To be] discreet [Strong: 4998. sophron so'-frone from the base of 4982 and that of 5424; safe (sound) in mind, i.e. self-controlled (moderate as to opinion or passion):--discreet, sober, temperate.]
b. chaste [Strong: 53. hagnos hag-nos' from the same as 40; properly, clean, i.e. (figuratively) innocent, modest, perfect:--chaste, clean, pure.]
c. keepers at home [Strong: 3626. oikouros oy-koo-ros' from 3624 and ouros (a guard; be "ware"); a stayer at home, i.e. domestically inclined (a "good housekeeper"):--keeper at home.]
