Luke 23:41
And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

1). What happened next was the thief who had previously blasphemed Christ, opened his repentant heart and asked for mercy and forgiveness, and Christ doing what he came to earth to do received the man into the kingdom of heaven and God.
