So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places;

1. “So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace…”

a. So that [Strong: 5620. hoste hoce'-teh from 5613 and 5037; so too, i.e. thus therefore (in various relations of consecution, as follow):--(insomuch) as, so that (then), (insomuch) that, therefore, to, wherefore.]

l. palace [Strong: 4232. praitorion prahee-to'-ree-on of Latin origin; the praetorium or governor's courtroom (sometimes including the whole edifice and camp):--(common, judgment) hall (of judgment), palace, praetorium.

1). The fact that later in this epistle Paul refers to “Caesar’s household” points to the time of the writing as being in Rome in the first imprisonment.

2. “...and in all other places;”
