Hebrews 10:26
For
if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth,
there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
a. NLT: Dear friends, if we
deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth,
there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins.
b. NIV: If we deliberately keep on
sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for
sins is left,
c. YLT: For we -- willfully sinning
after the receiving the full knowledge of the truth -- no more for sins doth
there remain a sacrifice,
d. Amplified Bible: For if we go on deliberately and willingly
sinning after once acquiring the knowledge of the Truth, there is no longer any
sacrifice left to atone for [our] sins [no further offering to which to look
forward].
e. Worrell Translation: For, if we
sin willfully after we received the full knowledge of the truth, there no
longer remains a sacrifice for sins.
