John 17:23
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made
perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast
loved them, as thou hast loved me.
a. NLT: I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such
perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them
as much as you love me.
b. NIV: I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete
unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as
you have loved me.
c. YLT: I in them, and Thou in me, that they may be perfected into one,
and that the world may know that Thou didst send me, and didst love them as
Thou didst love me.
d. Amplified Bible Classic: I in them and You in Me, in order that they
may become one and perfectly united, that the world may
know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You
have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.
e. Worrell Translation: I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be
perfected into one; that the world may know that Thou didst send Me, and lovest
them, even as Thou didst love Me.
