Romans 8:36

As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

a. NLT: (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”)

b. NIV: As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

c. YLT: (according as it hath been written -- 'For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long, we were reckoned as sheep of slaughter,')

2. “…For thy sake we are killed all the day long…”

a. for [3754 * hoti] [Strong: neuter of 3748 as conjunction; demonstrative, that (sometimes redundant); causative, because:--as concerning that, as though, because (that), for (that), how (that), (in) that, though, why.]

3. “…we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
