Hebrews 12:6
For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
a. ASV: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, And scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
b. YLT: For whom the Lord doth love He doth chasten, and He scourgeth every son whom He receiveth;'
d. Amplified Bible Classic: For the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves, and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and welcomes to His heart and cherishes.
1. “For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth…”

2. “...and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.”
