Leviticus 1:7

And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire:

1. “And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar…”

a. 2. “...and lay the wood in order upon the fire:”

1). This is one of the duties of the priest, not the person bringing the offering.
