And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear.

1). This incident is reported in all four gospels, but each is slightly different. Only John identifies Peter as the one who drew his sword, and that the servant’s name was Malchus. only Luke reports that Jesus healed the man’s ear.

b). Luke 22:50, 51 And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
22:51 And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.
