1 Chronicles 4:10

And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

1). In recent years this prayer that Jabez prayed became famous in American Christianity. As far as I can see, all of these that he prayed for are benefits in the New Covenant.

a). Bless me indeed: Ephesians 1:3; enlarge my coast: Ephesians 4:11-16; thine hand might be with me: Colossians 1:27; that thou would keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me: 1 Corinthians 10:13; Ephesians 6:11-18.
