2 Kings 2:7

And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view afar off: and they two stood by Jordan.

1. “And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view afar off…”

1). Fifty of the prophetic students were watching from a distance. This same area where Elijah and Elisha were located near Jordan was near or the same spot where Israel crossed the Jordan River about 5 and a half centuries earlier (Joshua 3-6).
