And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

1). 2). Japheth had 7 sons: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javen, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.


a). Javan had four sons: Elishah, Tarshis, Kittim and Dodanim.


b). There are 5 of Japheth’s sons whose genealogies are not listed, Magog, Madai, Tubal, Meshech and Tiras.


2). Gomer had three sons: Ashkenaz, Riphath and Togarmah.


3). There are 14 families listed, and each family received a different language at Babel.
