John 8:30
As he spake these words, many believed on him.
a. NLT: Then many who heard him say these things believed
in him.

1. “As he spake these words…”

1). Jesus had just told these men that after he would be crucified, “lifted
up the Son of man”, they would know that he Jesus was the Messiah.
a). John 8:28, 29 Then
said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know
that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me,
I speak these things.
8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone;
for I do always those things that please him.

1). As a result of may believing on Him, Jesus further encouraged these
new believers and us with the with the next immediate words.
