Acts 13:26

Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.

a. NLT: “Brothers—you sons of Abraham, and also you God-fearing Gentiles—this message of salvation has been sent to us!

b. NIV: “Fellow children of Abraham and you God-fearing Gentiles, it is to us that this message of salvation has been sent.

c. YLT: 'Men, brethren, sons of the race of Abraham, and those among you fearing God, to you was the word of this salvation sent,

d. Amplified Bible Classic: Brethren, sons of the family of Abraham, and all those others among you who reverence and fear God, to us has been sent the message of this salvation [the salvation obtained through Jesus Christ].

1. “Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham…”

a. Men [Strong: 435 * aner an'-ayr a primary word (compare 444); a man (properly as an individual male):--fellow, husband, man, sir.]

b. brethren [Strong: 80 * adephos ad-el-fos' from 1 (as a connective particle) and delphus (the womb); a brother (literally or figuratively) near or remote (much like 1):--brother.]

c. children [Strong: 5207 * huios hwee-os' apparently a primary word; a "son" (sometimes of animals), used very widely of immediate, remote or figuratively, kinship:--child, foal, son.]

d. of the stock [Strong: 1085 * genos ghen'-os from 1096; "kin" (abstract or concrete, literal or figurative, individual or collective):--born, country(-man), diversity, generation, kind(-red), nation, offspring, stock.]

e. of Abraham [Strong: 11 * Abraam ab-rah-am' of Hebrew origin (85); Abraham, the Hebrew patriarch:--Abraham.]

2.  “…and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.”

a. and [Strong: 2532 * kai kahee apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:--and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.]

f. God [Strong: 2316 * theos theh'-os of uncertain affinity; a deity, especially (with 3588) the supreme Divinity; figuratively, a magistrate; by Hebraism, very:--X exceeding, God, god(-ly, -ward).]
