Exodus 25:16

And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.

a. NLT: When the Ark is finished, place inside it the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, which I will give to you.

b. NIV: Then put in the ark the tablets of the covenant law, which I will give you.

c. YLT: and thou hast put unto the ark the testimony which I give unto thee.

1. “And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.”

c. the ark [Strong: 727 * 'arown aw-rone' or laron {aw-rone'}; from 717 (in the sense of gathering); a box:--ark, chest, coffin.]

d. the testimony [Strong: 5715 * `eduwth ay-dooth' feminine of 5707; testimony:--testimony, witness.]

e. which [Strong: 834 * 'aher ash-er' a primitive relative pronoun (of every gender and number); who, which, what, that; also (as an adverb and a conjunction) when, where, how, because, in order that, etc.:--X after, X alike, as (soon as), because, X every, for, + forasmuch, + from whence, + how(-soever), X if, (so) that ((thing) which, wherein), X though, + until, + whatsoever, when, where (+ -as, -in, -of, -on, -soever, -with), which, whilst, + whither(- soever), who(-m, -soever, -se). 1). At this time, the only items in the ark were the two tables of stone, but during the approximately 40 years there were other items placed inside the ark. A jar of manna and Aaronb’s rod that budded.

a). Hebrew 9:4  Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;
