Acts 13:44
And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city
together to hear the word of God.

neuter of a presumed derivative of the alternate of 2192 as adverb; nigh, i.e.

including all the forms of declension; apparently a primary word; all, any,
every, the whole:--all (manner of, means), alway(-s), any (one), X daily, +

probably from the same as 4171, or perhaps from 4183; a town (properly, with

(to the ears), (shall) hear(-er, -ken), be noised, be reported, understand.]

extension, a computation; specially, (with the article in John) the Divine
