And Bezaleel made the ark of shittim wood: two cubits
and a half was the length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of
it, and a cubit and a half the height of it:

a. Bezaleel [Strong: 1212 * Btsal'el
bets-al-ale' probably from 6738 and 410 with a prepositional prefix; in (the)
shadow (i.e. protection) of God; Betsalel, the name of two
Israelites:--Bezaleel.]
1). Unger’s bible Dictionary: The
artificer to whom was instrusted the design and construction of the tabernacle
and its furniture in the wilderness. For this work he was specially chosen and
inspired by Jehovah. With him was associated Aholiab, though Bezaleel appears
to have been the chief.
2). The Lord filled Bezaleel with a
spirit of wisdom, understanding and knowledge to build everything in the
tabernacle.
