15:9
And that the Gentiles might glorify
God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to
thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

came so that the Gentiles might give glory to God for his mercies to them. That
is what the psalmist meant when he wrote: “For this, I will praise you among
the Gentiles; I will sing praises to your name.”

1). From the
beginning it has always been in the plan of God to save the Gentiles as well as
the Jews. The plan of redemption that includes all humanity was purposed before
the the creation of the universe.
a). 1 Peter
1:18-20 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things,
as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your
fathers;
1:19 But with the
precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these
last times for you,

cite examples from the Old Testament to prove his case that it was God’s plan
all along to save the Gentiles. The first example is 2 Samuel 22:50.
