Romans 5:19
For as by one man's
disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be
made righteous.
1. “For as by one
man's disobedience many were made sinners…”

g. many [Strong: 4183 polus pol-oos' including the forms
from the alternate pollos; (singular) much (in any respect) or (plural) many;
neuter (singular) as adverbial, largely; neuter (plural) as adverb or noun
often, mostly, largely:--abundant, + altogether, common, + far (passed, spent),

sinful, i.e. a sinner:--sinful, sinner.]
1). When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden they died spiritually, and
because they died spiritually they eventually died physically.
a). Genesis 2:16, 17 And the Lord God commanded
the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not
eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
2). Spiritual death passed into all men and women.
a). Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and
death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”

1). When the sin debt was paid Jesus was justified, mankind was justified
and Jesus came out of the grave.
a). 1 Timothy 3:16 And without
controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh,
justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed
on in the world, received up into glory.
b). Romans 4:24-5:1 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it
was imputed to him;
4:24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him
that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
4:25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our
justification.
5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through
our Lord Jesus Christ:
2). Just as when when Adam and Eve sinned all of mankind was doomed, in
Christ all are justified, but the only way to benefit from what Christ did is
to repent and believe on Him who raised Him from the dead.
a). 1 Corinthians 15:21, 22 For since by man came death, by man came also
the resurrection of the dead.
15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
b). Romans 10:9, 10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved.
10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the
mouth confession is made unto salvation.
