Romans 5:5

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

1. “And hope maketh not ashamed…”

d. ashamed [Strong: 2617 kataischuno kat-ahee-skhoo'-no from 2596 and 153; to shame down, i.e. disgrace or (by implication) put to the blush:--confound, dishonour, (be a-, make a-)shame(-d).]

2. “…because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”
