h. the holy place [39 * hagion]
[Strong: neuter of 40; a sacred thing (i.e. spot):--holiest (of all), holy

1). This was accomplished after
Christ Jesus rose from the dead. A curious event occurs after his resurrection
when Mary first sees Jesus and he does not allow her to touch him, and his
reason is because he had not yet ascended to his father.
a). John 20:14-17 And when she had thus said, she turned herself
back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.
20:15 Jesus saith unto her, Woman,
why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener,
saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid
him, and I will take him away.
20:16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary.
She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch
me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say
unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your
God.
2). Not long after that meeting he
allowed his disciples to touch him.
a). Matthew 28:8-10 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre
with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
28:9 And as they went to tell his
disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him
by the feet, and worshipped him.
28:10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be
not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they
see me.
b). It is in between these events that
Christ entered the heavenly Holy of Holies and placed his blood on the mercy
seat.

heaven. The holy place built by Israel in the Tabernacle was a copy of the holy
place in heaven. Moses was to make the tabernacle exactly like the pattern
showed to him on mountain.

tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye
make it.
b). Exodus 25:40 And look that thou
make them after their

rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was shewed thee
in the mount.
