John 17:7

John 17:7

Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.

a. NLT: Now they know that everything I have is a gift from you,

b. NIV: Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you.

c. YLT: now they have known that all things, as many as Thou hast given to me, are from Thee,

d. Amplified Bible: Now [at last] they know and understand that all You have given Me belongs to You [is really and truly Yours].

e. Worrell Translation: Now they have known that all things whatsoever Thou gavest Me are from Thee.

1. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.

a. Now [3568 * nun] [Strong: a primary particle of present time; "now" (as adverb of date, a transition or emphasis); also as noun or adjective present or immediate:--henceforth, + hereafter, of late, soon, present, this (time).]

b. they have known [1097 * ginosko] [Strong:  a prolonged form of a primary verb; to "know" (absolutely) in a great variety of applications and with many implications (as follow, with others not thus clearly expressed):--allow, be aware (of), feel, (have) know(-ledge), perceived, be resolved, can speak, be sure, understand.]

c. that [3754 * hoti] [Strong:  neuter of 3748 as conjunction; demonstrative, that (sometimes redundant); causative, because:--as concerning that, as though, because (that), for (that), how (that), (in) that, though, why.]

d. all things [3956 * pas] [Strong: including all the forms of declension; apparently a primary word; all, any, every, the whole:--all (manner of, means), alway(-s), any (one), X daily, + ever, every (one, way), as many as, + no(-thing), X thoroughly, whatsoever, whole, whosoever.]

e. whatsoever [3745 * hosos] [Strong: by reduplication from 3739; as (much, great, long, etc.) as:--all (that), as (long, many, much) (as), how great (many, much), (in-)asmuch as, so many as, that (ever), the more, those things, what (great, -soever), wheresoever, wherewithsoever, which, X while, who(-soever).]

f. thou hast given [1325 * didomi] [Strong:  a prolonged form of a primary verb (which is used as an alternative in most of the tenses); to give (used in a very wide application, properly, or by implication, literally or figuratively; greatly modified by the connection):--adventure, bestow, bring forth, commit, deliver (up), give, grant, hinder, make, minister, number, offer, have power, put, receive, set, shew, smite (+ with the hand), strike (+ with the palm of the hand), suffer, take, utter, yield.]

g. me [3427 * moi] [Strong: the simpler form of 1698; to me:--I, me, mine, my.]
h. are [2076 * esti] [Strong: third person singular present indicative of 1510; he (she or it) is; also (with neuter plural) they are:--are, be(-long), call, X can(-not), come, consisteth, X dure for a while, + follow, X have, (that) is (to say), make, meaneth, X must needs, + profit, + remaineth, + wrestle.]
