2 Samuel 22:34

He maketh my feet like hinds' feet: and setteth me upon my high places.

a. ASV: He maketh his feet like hinds’ feet, And setteth me upon my high places.

b. YLT: Making my feet like hinds, And on my high places causeth me to stand,

1. “He maketh my feet like hinds' feet…”

a. [He] maketh [Strong: 7737  shâvâh, shaw-vaw'; a primitive root; properly, to level, i.e. equalize; figuratively, to resemble; by implication, to adjust (i.e. counterbalance, be suitable, compose, place, yield, etc.):—avail, behave, bring forth, compare, countervail, (be, make) equal, lay, be (make, a-) like, make plain, profit, reckon.] [The KJV translates Strong's H7737 in the following manner: laid (3x), equal (3x), like (2x), compared (2x), profit (2x), set (1x), miscellaneous (8x).]

b. [my] feet [Strong: 7272  regel, reh'-gel; from H7270; a foot (as used in walking); by implication, a step; by euphemistically the pudenda:—× be able to endure, × according as, × after, ×coming, × follow, (broken-)foot(-ed, -stool), × great toe, × haunt, × journey, leg, piss, possession, time.] [The KJV translates Strong's H7272 in the following manner: feet (216x), footstool (with H1916) (6x), after (4x), times (4x), follow (4x), piss (with H4325) (2x), toes (2x), journey (1x), legs (1x), miscellaneous (7x).]

c. [like] hinds feet [Strong: 355 ʼayâlâh, ah-yaw-law'; feminine of H354; a doe or female deer:—hind.] [The KJV translates Strong's H355 in the following manner: hind(s) (8x).]

2. “...and setteth me upon my high places.”

a. [and] setteth me [Strong: 5975 ʻâmad, aw-mad'; a primitive root; to stand, in various relations (literal and figurative, intransitive and transitive):—abide (behind), appoint, arise, cease, confirm, continue, dwell, be employed, endure, establish, leave, make, ordain, be (over), place, (be) present (self), raise up, remain, repair, serve, set (forth, over, -tle, up), (make to, make to be at a, with-) stand (by, fast, firm, still, up), (be at a) stay (up), tarry.] [The KJV translates Strong's H5975 in the following manner: stood (171x), stand (137x), (raise, stand...) up (42x), set (32x), stay (17x), still (15x), appointed (10x), standing (10x), endure (8x), remain (8x), present (7x), continue (6x), withstand (6x), waited (5x), establish (5x), miscellaneous (42x).

b. upon [Strong:5921 `al al properly, the same as 5920 used as a preposition (in the singular or plural often with prefix, or as conjunction with a particle following); above, over, upon, or against (yet always in this last relation with a downward aspect) in a great variety of applications (as follow):--above, according to(-ly), after, (as) against, among, and, X as, at, because of, beside (the rest of), between, beyond the time, X both and, by (reason of), X had the charge of, concerning for, in (that), (forth, out) of, (from) (off), (up-)on, over, than, through(-out), to, touching, X with.]

c. [my] high places [Strong: 1116 bâmâh, bam-maw'; from an unused root (meaning to be high); an elevation:—height, high place, wave.]

1). This of course is Old Testament, but from a New Testament perspective this is very applicable.  

a). Ephesians 1:19-23 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
