And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.

1). The Genesis Flood, Henry M. Morris, p.210: Securely anchored on the earth again, Noah and the others needed to wait until the waters receded enough for them to disembark. But this tool yet another seven months, so that they were in the Ark slightly over a year, 371 days altogether. After 2 and a half months, they could see the tops of the nearby mountains.
