Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

1. “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God…”

1). Gene Rodenberry’s science fiction vision of man going into space to the far reaches of the galaxy (Star Trek) will never come true. God will not allow man to take his sin nature rebellion and spread it into the far reaches of space. Flesh and blood will not inherit the kingdom of God. Though the kingdom of God will, I believe, spread into the universe.

9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
