What then? shall we sin, because we
are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on
sinning? Of course not!

1). The words “God forbid”
are not in the Greek text. The Greek terms are me ginomai which mean “absolutely not to become”. The King James
has “God forbid” while the other translations I have listed do a more accurate
job. To sin while under grace is absolutely
not to be allowed to happen.
