1 Kings 11:3

And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.

a. NLT: He had 700 wives of royal birth and 300 concubines. And in fact, they did turn his heart away from the LORD.

1). The differences between David and Solomon were David had many wives at least 8 whereas Solomon had a thousand. David did not marry any foreign women while Soloman married hundreds. David’s women did not turn away his heart whereas Solomon’s wives did.
