Hosea 1:10
Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be
as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall
come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them,
Ye are not my people, there it shall be said
unto them,Ye are the sons of the living God.
a. NLT: Yet the time will come when Israel’s people
will be like the sands of the seashore—too many to count! Then, at the place
where they were told, ‘You are not my people,’ it will be said, ‘You are
children of the living God.’

1). The Apostle Paul writes in Romans that even
though Israel was promised a number comparable as the sand, only a remnant
would be saved and the prophecy fulfilled in a remnant of Israel and a
multitude of Gentiles.
a). Romans 9:27-29 Esaias also crieth concerning
Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea,
a remnant shall be saved:
9:28 For he will finish the work, and cut it short
in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.
9:29 And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of
Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto
Gomorrha.

9:26 And it shall come to pass, that in
the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people;
there shall they be called the children of the living God.

ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness

2:10 Which in time past were not a
people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained
