Hosea 2:8

For she did not know that I gave her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, which they prepared for Baal.

a. NLT: She doesn’t realize it was I who gave her everything she has—the grain, the new wine, the olive oil; I even gave her silver and gold. But she gave all my gifts to Baal.

b. NIV: She has not acknowledged that I was the one who gave her the grain, the new wine and oil, who lavished on her the silver and gold— which they used for Baal.

c. YLT: And she knew not that I had given to her, The corn, and the new wine, and the oil. Yea, silver I did multiply to her, And the gold they prepared for Baal.

i. and oil [Strong: 3323 * yitshar yits-hawr' from 6671; oil (as producing light); figuratively, anointing:--+ anointed oil.]

1). It seems to me that Hosea 2:6-8 is the general prophetic plan that God declares He will do to bring Gomer/Israel back to Himself and to Hosea.
