Hosea 2:10



Hosea 2:10

And now will I discover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of mine hand.

a. NLT: I will strip her naked in public, while all her lovers look on. No one will be able
to rescue her from my hands.

b. NIV: So now I will expose her lewdness before the eyes of her lovers; no one will take her out of my hands.

c. YLT: And now do I reveal her dishonour before the eyes of her lovers, And none doth deliver her out of My hand.

d. Amplified Bible Classic: And now will I uncover her lewdness and her shame in the sight of her lovers, and no one shall rescue her out of My hand.

1. “And now will I discover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers…”

d. lewdness [Strong: 5040 * nabluwth nab-looth' from 5036; properly, disgrace, i.e. the (female) pudenda:--lewdness.]

e. in the sight [Strong: 5869 * `ayin ah'-yin probably a primitive word; an eye (literally or figuratively); by analogy, a fountain (as the eye of the landscape):--affliction, outward appearance, + before, + think best, colour, conceit, + be content, countenance, + displease, eye((-brow), (-d), -sight), face, + favour, fountain, furrow (from the margin), X him, + humble, knowledge, look, (+ well), X me, open(-ly), + (not) please, presence, + regard, resemblance, sight, X thee, X them, + think, X us, well, X you(-rselves).]

2. “…and none shall deliver her out of mine hand.”
