Genesis 26:26

Then Abimelech went to him from Gerar, and Ahuzzath one of his friends, and Phichol the chief captain of his army.

[of his] army [Strong: 6635 tsaba' tsaw-baw' or (feminine) tsbadah {tseb-aw-aw'}; from 6633; a mass of persons (or figuratively, things), especially reg. organized for war (an army); by implication, a campaign, literally or figuratively (specifically, hardship, worship):--appointed time, (+) army, (+) battle, company, host, service, soldiers, waiting upon, war(-fare).]

1). This meeting with Isaac with the leaders of the Philistines is almost exactly like the one that took place between them and Abraham. In both instances they knew that Abraham and in this cace Isaac was more powerful than they were.
