Isaiah 54:4


Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.

1. “Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame…” 


a. Fear [Strong: 3372 yare' yaw-ray' a primitive root; to fear; morally, to revere; caus. to frighten:--affright, be (make) afraid, dread(-ful), (put in) fear(-ful, -fully, -ing), (be had in) reverence(-end), X see, terrible (act, -ness, thing).]


b. not [Strong: 408 'al al a negative particle (akin to 3808); not (the qualified negation, used as a deprecative); once (Job 24:25) as a noun, nothing:--nay, neither, + never, no ,nor, not, nothing (worth), rather than.]

f. neither [Strong: 408 'al al a negative particle (akin to 3808); not (the qualified negation, used as a deprecative); once (Job 24:25) as a noun, nothing:--nay, neither, + never, no ,nor, not, nothing (worth), rather than.]


g. [be thou] confounded [Strong: 3637 kalam kaw-lawm' a primitive root; properly, to wound; but only figuratively, to taunt or insult:--be (make) ashamed, blush, be confounded, be put to confusion, hurt, reproach, (do, put to) shame.]

1). Isaiah 61:7-9 For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

61:8 For I the Lord love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

61:9 And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the Lord hath blessed.

d. [of thy] youth [Strong: 5934 `aluwm aw-loom' passive participle of 5956 in the denominative sense of 5958; (only in plural as abstract) adolescence; figuratively, vigor:--youth.]


e.
