Deuteronomy 18:13

Deuteronomy 18:13

Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.

a. NLT: But you must be blameless before the LORD your God.

b. NIV: You must be blameless before the LORD your God.

c. YLT: Perfect thou art with Jehovah thy God,

d. Amplified Bible: You shall be blameless (complete, perfect) before the Lord your God.

e. Septuagint: Thou shalt be perfect before the Lord thy God. 

f. Stone Edition Chumash: You shall be wholehearted with HASHEM, your God.

1. “Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.”

a. be perfect [8549 * tamiym] [Strong: from 8552; entire (literally, figuratively or morally); also (as noun) integrity, truth:--without blemish, complete, full, perfect, sincerely (-ity), sound, without spot, undefiled, upright(-ly), whole.]

b. the LORD [3068 * Yhovah] [Strong: from 1961; (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God:--Jehovah, the Lord.]

c. thy God [430 * 'elohiym] [Strong: plural of 433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative:--angels, X exceeding, God (gods)(-dess, -ly), X (very) great, judges, X mighty.]
