Romans 8:8
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.

1). Those who are walking in the flesh cannot please God because they
are not walking in faith.
a). Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please
him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a
rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
2). Those who present their bodies
in obedience to God are those who are pleasing God, not those who are walking
in the flesh.
a). Romans 12:1[NIV] Therefore, I
urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as
a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper
worship.
