2 Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
a. NLT: For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
b. NIV: Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
c. YLT: And the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty;
d. Amplified Bible Classic: Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom).
e. Worrell Translation: Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
f. Wuest Translation: But the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty.
1. “Now the Lord is that Spirit…”
a. Now [Strong: 1161. de deh a primary particle (adversative or continuative); but, and, etc.:--also, and, but, moreover, now (often unexpressed in English).]
b. the [Strong: 3588. ho ho, including the feminine he hay, and the neuter to to in all their inflections; the definite article; the (sometimes to be supplied, at others omitted, in English idiom):--the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc.]
c. Lord [Strong: 2962. kurios koo'-ree-os from kuros (supremacy); supreme in authority, i.e. (as noun) controller; by implication, Master (as a respectful title):-- God, Lord, master, Sir.]
d. is [Strong: 2076. esti es-tee' third person singular present indicative of 1510; he (she or it) is; also (with neuter plural) they are:--are, be(-long), call, X can(-not), come, consisteth, X dure for a while, + follow, X have, (that) is (to say), make, meaneth, X must needs, + profit, + remaineth, + wrestle.]

Spirit [Strong: 4151. pneuma pnyoo'-mah from 4154; a current of air, i.e. breath (blast) or a breeze; by analogy or figuratively, a spirit, i.e. (human) the rational soul, (by implication) vital principle, mental disposition, etc., or (superhuman) an angel, demon, or (divine) God, Christ's spirit, the Holy Spirit:--ghost, life, spirit(-ual, -ually), mind.]
1). There are different opinions as to which Person of the Godhead this refers to and the opinions are given by individuals far more educated than me. Personally I see in the context an inference to the Holy Spirit, who is the Person of the Godhead who is enforcing this Covenant in this dispensation.
2. “…and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”

b. where [Strong: 3757. hou hoo genitive case of 3739 as adverb; at which place, i.e. where:--where(-in), whither(-soever).]

d.
