1. “In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together…”

a. 1). Paul begins his authorative direction by saying basically, “You need to gather together in the name and in power and authority of Jesus Christ.” Paul says he will be there in spirit.

2). The reason the woman is not mentioned is perhaps because she is not a member of the church of Corinth. Other than that I don’t know of any other reason.
