Psalm 101:2

I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

b). 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

c). Ephesians 4:12-16 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

1). These individuals do not give in to the circumstances that cause many tears, but through the grace of God they make it a pleasant place. This is shown in the surrounding verses.

Psalm 84:5

Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

c. habitation [Strong: 4583 mâʻôwn, maw-ohn'; or מָעִין mâʻîyn; (1 Chronicles 4:41), from the same as H5772; an abode, of God (the Tabernacle or the Temple), men (their home) or animals (their lair); hence, a retreat (asylum):—den, dwelling((-) place), habitation.]

1). After our loving God has made the offer for Him to be our habitation, it is up to us whether we are or not. We choose to make Him our habitation, to whome we can continually seek His boundless protection and blessing. See notes on Psalm 91.

a). Psalm 91:1-16 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
91:2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

1). This flows beautifully with Psalm 91, particularly the passage about God commanding His angels to watch over us.

1). It amazes me that God’s word says that we can bless God and in the next section it tells us how.

2. “...I will lift up my hands in thy name.”

1). The New Covenant also teaches us that we can pray with our hands raised unto God.

a). 1 Timothy 2:8 I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

2). In Psalms it declares that prayer is like incense ascending to God, and the lifting of our hands is like the evening sacrifice.

 a). Psalm 141:2 Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. 

3). To see how significant this is we must look at what God told the Israelites after they were delivered out of Egypt. The evening and morning sacrifice was to be down every day of their existence.

a). Exodus 29:38-41 Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar; two lambs of the first year day by day continually.
29:39 The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even:
29:40 And with the one lamb a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil; and the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering.
29:41 And the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do thereto according to the meat offering of the morning, and according to the drink offering thereof, for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
29:42 This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord: where I will meet you, to speak there unto thee.
