Psalm 19:6

Psalm 19:6

His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

a. ASV: His going forth is from the end of the heavens, And his circuit unto the ends of it; And there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

b. YLT: From the end of the heavens is his going out, And his revolution isunto their ends, And nothing is hid from his heat.

c. Amplified Bible Classic: Its going forth is from the end of the heavens, and its circuit to the ends of it; and nothing [yes, no one] is hidden from the heat of it.

d. Septuagint [Psalm 19:6 in our Bible is Psalm 18:7 in the Septuagint]: His going forth is from the extremity of heaven, and his circuit to the [other] end of heaven: and no one shall be hidden from his heat.

e. Stone Edition Torah/Prophets/Writings [Psalm 19:6 in our Bible is Psalm 19:7 in the Jewish Bible]: Its source is the end of the heavens and its circut is to their end; nothing is hidden from its heat.

1. “His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it…”

a. [His] going forth [Strong: 4161 môwtsâʼ, mo-tsaw'; or מֹצָא môtsâʼxlit môtsâ corrected to môtsâʼ; from H3318; a going forth, i.e. (the act) an egress, or (the place) an exit; hence, a source or product; specifically, dawn, the rising of the sun (the East), exportation, utterance, a gate, a fountain, a mine, a meadow (as producing grass):—brought out, bud, that which came out, east, going forth, goings out, that which (thing that) is gone out, outgoing, proceeded out, spring, vein, (water-) course (springs).]

b. [is from the] end [Strong: 7097 qâtseh, kaw-tseh'; or (negative only) קֵצֶה qêtseh; from H7096; (used in a great variety of applications and idioms; compare H7093) an extremity:—× after, border, brim, brink, edge, end, (in-) finite, frontier, outmost coast, quarter, shore, (out-) side, × some, ut(-ter-) most (part).]

c. [of the] heaven [Strong: 8064 shâmayim, shaw-mah'-yim; dual of an unused singular שָׁמֶה shâmeh; from an unused root meaning to be lofty; the sky (as aloft; the dual perhaps alluding to the visible arch in which the clouds move, as well as to the higher ether where the celestial bodies revolve):—air, × astrologer, heaven(-s).]

d. [and his] circut [Strong: 8622 tᵉqûwphâh, tek-oo-faw'; or תְּקֻפָה tᵉquphâh; from H5362; a revolution, i.e. (of the sun) course, (of time) lapse:—circuit, come about, end.]

e. unto [Strong: 5921  `al al properly, the same as 5920 used as a preposition (in the singular or plural often with prefix, or as conjunction with a particle following); above, over, upon, or against (yet always in this last relation with a downward aspect) in a great variety of applications (as follow):--above, according to(-ly), after, (as) against, among, and, X as, at, because of, beside (the rest of), between, beyond the time, X both and, by (reason of), X had the charge of, concerning for, in (that), (forth, out) of, (from) (off), (up-)on, over, than, through(-out), to, touching, X with.]

f. [the] ends [of it] [Strong: 7098 qâtsâh, kaw-tsaw'; feminine of H7097; (used like H7097) a termination:—coast, corner, (selv-) edge, lowest, (uttermost) participle].

2. “...and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.”

a. [and there is] nothing [Strong: 369 'ayin ah'-yin as if from a primitive root meaning to be nothing or not exist; a non-entity; generally used as a negative particle:--else, except, fail, (father-)less, be gone, in(-curable), neither, never, no (where), none, nor, (any, thing), not, nothing, to nought, past, un(-searchable), well-nigh, without.]

b. hid [Strong: 5641 çâthar, saw-thar'; a primitive root; to hide (by covering), literally or figuratively:—be absent, keep close, conceal, hide (self), (keep) secret, × surely.]

c. [from the] heat [thereof] [Strong: 2535 chammâh, kham-maw'; from H2525; heat; by implication, the sun:—heat, sun.]

1). Stars, Planets, and Galaxies; Clusters of Galaxies: “At a distance of several diameters from the Local Group there are other clusters of galaxies. North of Spica in Virgo, there is a region called the Realm of the Galaxies. Here, vast assemblages are found containing thousands of galaxies in one of the largest clusters known. Its distance is about 40 million light years. The number of galaxies contained may be numbered in the tens of thousands, with the greatest concentration toward the constellation Virgo; the number of Galaxies tapers off as the Local Group is reached. From all appearances, this is the local Supergalaxy, a galaxy of galaxies, instead of stars. Our galaxy, the Milky Way, is one in tens of thousands far out on the rim of a gigantic wheel of galaxies whose flat distribution indicates a rotation about the center. The local supergalaxy is only one of many, for investigations show others in the direction of Hydra and Pavo. Clusters of galaxies extend into space in all directions many billions of light years. Thus, we can see that the universe is composed of hierarchies of increasing magnitude, in constant motion, in an unimaginably vast sea of space.”

2). The earth rotates along with all the planets within the Solar System, our Solar System is rotating within our Galaxy our Galaxy is rotating within the cluster of Galaxies that we are in. As the article above states, the whole universe is in a constant motion of rotation. When David wrote this verse he was giving knowledge that could not be proven for thousands of years. Talk about Divine inspiration. Hallelujah!
