2 Peter 3:2

That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

1. “That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets…”

a. [That ye may be] mindful [Strong: 3415. mnaomai mnah'-om-ahee middle voice of a derivative of 3306 or perhaps of the base of 3145 (through the idea of fixture in the mind or of mental grasp); to bear in mind, i.e. recollect; by implication, to reward or punish:--be mindful, remember, come (have) in remembrance.]

2. “...and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:”

j. Saviour [Strong: 4990. soter so-tare' from 4982; a deliverer, i.e. God or Christ:--saviour.]

1). Here Peter, inspired by the Holy Ghost put his writings and the writings of the other apostles on the same level with the words of the Old Testament prophets. It is similar to when he said the words of the Apostle Paul were on the level of the “other scriptures”. 

a). 2 Peter 3:15, 16 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
