And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

1. “And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart…”

a. [And thou shalt] love [Strong: 157 'ahab aw-hab' or raheb {aw-habe'}; a primitive root; to have affection for (sexually or otherwise):--(be-)love(-d, -ly, -r), like, friend.]

1). These three components, heart, soul, and might would in the New Testament, would be spirit, soul, and body. The whole of man is included.
