[And they] removed [Strong: 5265 naca` naw-sah' a primitive root; properly, to pull up, especially the tent-pins, i.e. start on a journey:--cause to blow, bring, get, (make to) go (away, forth, forward, onward, out), (take) journey, march, remove, set aside (forward), X still, be on his (go their) way.]

f. 1). It appears that the material in the whole chapter of Exodus 16:1-36, all took place in the wilderness of Sin between Elim and Sinai at this location. A casual look at Exodus 16 and 17 makes it appear they went from here by the Red Sea to Rephidim, but looking at Numbers 33, they moved here to the Wilderness of Sin (Numbers 33:11), from the Wilderness of Sin to Dophkah (Numbers 33:12), then from Dophkah to Alush (Numbers 33:13), and from Alush to Rephidim (numbers 33:14, moving four times between here by the Red Sea and Rephidim.
a). Numbers 33:11-14 And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.
33:12 And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.
33:13 And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.
33:14 And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.
