1). Gad and Reuben desired to have a territory on the east side of Jordan, because it was a perfect area for their cattle. Moses told them that they could have the land if they first went to war with the other tribes so that they could be settled also on the west side of Jordan in their inheritances (Numbers 32:6-33). They all agreed and it was so.
