Exodus 12:44

But every man's servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.

a. NLT: But any slave who has been purchased may eat it if he has been circumcised.

b. NIV: Any slave you have bought may eat it after you have circumcised him,

c. YLT: and any man's servant, the purchase of money, when thou hast circumcised him -- then he doth eat of it;

1. “But every man's servant that is bought for money…”

a. man’s [376 * 'iysh] [Strong: contracted for 582 (or perhaps rather from an unused root meaning to be extant); a man as an individual or a male person; often used as an adjunct to a more definite term (and in such cases frequently not expressed in translation):--also, another, any (man), a certain, + champion, consent, each, every (one), fellow, (foot-, husband-)man, (good-, great, mighty) man, he, high (degree), him (that is), husband, man(-kind), + none, one, people, person, + steward, what (man) soever, whoso(-ever), worthy.]

b. servant [5650 * `ebed] [Strong: from 5647; a servant:--X bondage, bondman, (bond-)servant, (man-)servant.]

c. bought for money [4736 *  miqnah mik-naw' feminine of 4735; properly, a buying, i.e. acquisition; concretely, a piece of property (land or living); also the sum paid:--(he that is) bought, possession, piece, purchase.]

2. “…when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.”

a. when thou hast circumcised him [4135 * muwl] [Strong: a primitive root; to cut short, i.e. curtail (specifically the prepuce, i.e. to circumcise); by implication, to blunt; figuratively, to destroy:--circumcise(-ing), selves), cut down (in pieces), destroy, X must needs.]

b. then shall he eat [398 *  'akal] [Strong: a primitive root; to eat (literally or figuratively):--X at all, burn up, consume, devour(-er, up), dine, eat(-er, up), feed (with), food, X freely, X in...wise(-deed, plenty), (lay) meat, X quite.]
