Matthew 26:19

And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.

a. NLT: So the disciples did as Jesus told them and prepared the Passover meal there.

b. NIV: So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.

c. YLT: and the disciples did as Jesus appointed them, and prepared the passover.

d. Amplified Bible: And accordingly the disciples did as Jesus had directed them, and they made ready the Passover supper.

e. Worrell Translation: And the disciples did as jesus directed them, and prepared the Passover.

1. “And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them…”

a. And [2532 * kai] [Strong: apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:--and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.]
