And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,

1. “And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,”

a. [And] rams [Strong: 352 ʼayil, ah'-yil; from the same as H193; properly, strength; hence, anything strong; specifically a chief (politically); also a ram (from his strength); a pilaster (as a strong support); an oak or other strong tree:—mighty (man), lintel, oak, post, ram, tree.]

b. skins [Strong: 5785 ʻôwr, ore; from H5783; skin (as naked); by implication, hide, leather:—hide, leather, skin.]

c. [dyed] red [Strong: 119 ʼâdam, aw-dam'; to show blood (in the face), i.e. flush or turn rosy:—be (dyed, made) red (ruddy).]

d. [and] badgers [Strong: 8476 tachash, takh'-ash; probably of foreign derivation; a (clean) animal with fur, probably a species of antelope:—badger.]

e. skins [Strong: 5785 ʻôwr, ore; from H5783; skin (as naked); by implication, hide, leather:—hide, leather, skin.]

f. [and] shittim [Strong: 7848 shiṭṭâh, shit-taw'; feminine of a derivative (only in the plural שִׁטִּים shiṭṭîym; meaning the sticks of wood) from the same as H7850; the acacia (from its scourging thorns):—shittah, shittim.]

g. wood [Strong: 6086 ʻêts, ates; from H6095; a tree (from its firmness); hence, wood (plural sticks):— carpenter, gallows, helve, pine, plank, staff, stalk, stick, stock, timber, tree, wood.]

1). This whole passage of Exodus 25:1-9 is instructing the Israelites to collect and offering of materials to build the Tabernacle and everything in it.

a). Exodus 25:1-9 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.

3 And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,

4 And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,

5 And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,

6 Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,

7 Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate.

8 And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.

9 According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.

2). There is no question that they received all this material from the Egyptians when they left. When the exodus was prophesied to Abraham, the LORD told him that the nation would leave with great substance. And it was also told to Moses.

3). The offering that they received from the Israelites included so much material that they kept giving that moses had to tell them to stop.
