2 Timothy 1:16
The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:

[ho] ho ho, including the feminine he hay, and the neuter to to in all their inflections; the definite article; the (sometimes to be supplied, at others omitted, in English idiom):--the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc.] [Thayer: [ho] ὁ, ἡ, τό, originally τος, τῇ, τό (as is evident from the forms τοι, ται for οἱ, αἱ in Homer and the Ionic writings), corresponds to our definite article the (German der, die, das), which is properly a demonstrative pronoun, which we see in its full force in Homer, and of which we find certain indubitable traces also in all kinds of Greek prose, and hence also in the N. Unger’s Bible Dictionary: A Christian of Ephesus who not only ministered to the apostle there (2 Timothy 1:18) but who, being in Rome during Paul’s second imprisonment, “was not ashamed” of his “chains,” sought out Paul “often refreshed” him 2 Timothy 1:16, 17), A.D. 60. In his epistle the apostle expressed his appreciation for the services rendered by Onesiphorus and sent salutations to his household.
