Genesis 50:7

And Joseph went up to bury his father: and with him went up all the servants of Pharaoh, the elders of his house, and all the elders of the land of Egypt,

2). My rough guess of the miles between Goshen, where Israel lived and Hebron, where the cave of Machpelah is located, is about 180 miles. Given what the above Moody Bible Atlas established as to travel in those days, I figure their amount of travel would be maybe twelve to twenty miles a day, so I figure it would take anywhere from 6 to 15 days to travel the distance.
