But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

1. “But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions…”

a. But [Strong: 1161. de deh a primary particle (adversative or continuative); but, and, etc.:--also, and, but, moreover, now (often unexpressed in English).]

b. watch [Strong: 3525. nepho nay'-fo of uncertain affinity: to abstain from wine (keep sober), i.e. (figuratively) be discreet:--be sober, watch.]
