Genesis 11:26

And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran. (70)

b. lived [2421 * chayah] [Strong: a primitive root (Compare 2331, 2421); to live, whether literally or figuratively; causatively, to revive:--keep (leave, make) alive, X certainly, give (promise) life, (let, suffer to) live, nourish up, preserve (alive), quicken, recover, repair, restore (to life), revive, (X God) save (alive, life, lives), X surely, be whole.]

1). The order given in this verse, Abram, Nahor, and Haran is not the birth order. Abram was actually born 60 years later. If we assume that Abram left right after Terah’s death at 205 years old and we subtract 75 from 205 we find that Abram was born when Terah was 130 years old not 70.

a). Genesis 11:32 And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.

b). Genesis 12:4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

2). Whether Abram was the second born or third, there was 60 age difference between Haran and Abram. The Amplified lists Haran as the first born, this is no doubt correct.
