Genesis 12:4

Genesis 12:4

So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

a. NLT: So Abram departed as the LORD had instructed, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran.

b. NIV: So Abram went, as the LORD had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Harran.

c. YLT: And Abram goeth on, as Jehovah hath spoken unto him, and Lot goeth with him, and Abram is a son of five and seventy years in his going out from Charan.

d. Amplified Bible:  So Abram departed, as the Lord had directed him; and Lot [his nephew] went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran.

e. Septuagint: And Abram went as the Lord spoke to him, and Lot departed with him, and Abram was seventy-five years old, when he went out of Charrhan.

1). Lot going with Abram is not good. The LORD had told Abram to separate from his relatives and go into Canaan.

2. “…and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.”
